Information you give us. If you email us or use a contact form, we receive your name, email address and whatever you write in your message. We use it only to reply to you. If you leave a comment, we receive the name, email and comment you submit, and your comment may be shown publicly on the site.

Like most websites, our hosting server records basic technical information when a page is requested, such as your IP address, browser type, device type, the page you visited and the time of the visit. These logs are used for security and to keep the site running, and are deleted on a regular schedule by our hosting provider.

The result checker tool

Our result tool asks for your board and your roll number. This information is handled entirely in your own browser. It is not sent to us and not stored on our server. When you press View Result, you are taken to the result page you selected, usually your board’s official website. Anything you enter there is governed by that website’s own policies, not ours.

Cookies

Cookies are small files stored in your browser. This website and the services below may use cookies to remember your preferences, measure visits and show advertising. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. The site will still work, although some features may behave differently.

Analytics

We use a secure (HTTPS) connection across the site and keep the information we hold to a minimum. No method of storing or sending data online is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect what we have.

Children’s information

Many of our readers are students aged 16 and 17. We do not ask for or knowingly collect personal information from children beyond what is needed to reply to a message. If you are a parent and believe your child has sent us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
