Lahore Board 1st Year Result 2026 Date and Time
Lahore Board itself confirmed the date. When it announced the Part-II schedule in September, it said the Part-I result would follow on 22 October. The Part-II result then came out on 23 September exactly as planned, with more than 189,000 candidates and a pass rate above 64%, which gives good confidence that the Part-I date will hold.

The pattern is steady: roughly four months after the last paper, and always in October since 2023.
Districts Under BISE Lahore
Lahore Board covers four districts: Lahore, Kasur, Sheikhupura and Nankana Sahib. That includes towns such as Pattoki, Chunian, Muridke, Ferozewala and Sangla Hill, which fall inside those districts. If your college is in any of them, your result comes from Lahore Board, whatever the name of the college.
Students from Okara sometimes assume they are under Lahore because of the distance. They are not; Okara comes under BISE Sahiwal.

Because Lahore has the most candidates of any Punjab board, its site is usually the slowest in the first hour. A practical approach: try once at 10:00, and if the page does not open within a minute or two, send the SMS instead and come back to the website after 11.
Lahore Board Result by SMS: 800291
Send only your roll number to 800291. No spaces, no words like “result” or “LHR”. The reply arrives with your marks, normally within a minute. Standard charges apply.
If nothing comes back, the network is usually overloaded rather than broken. Wait ten or fifteen minutes and send it once more.
Watch out for fake result pages
Lahore Board only asks for your roll number or your name. Any site or message asking for your CNIC, B-form, OTP or a fee to show your result is not from the board.
Check Lahore Board 1st Year Result by Name
The Lahore result portal lets you search by name as well as by roll number. Type the name exactly as it was written on the admission form. If several students share the name, match the father’s name and institution, then write down the roll number so you can use it for rechecking later.
Lahore Board also runs an online chatbot and a WhatsApp channel on its official website. They are useful after the result for questions about result cards, corrections and rechecking, and they are often quicker than phoning on result day.
BISE Lahore 1st Year Gazette 2026
After the result, Lahore uploads the Part-I gazette PDF on biselahore.com. The first pages are worth reading because they contain the board’s own result notice, and that notice answers several questions students worry about:
- 33% rule: candidates who got 33% or more in a subject have their marks shown against their roll number.
- Subject short names: if you see short subject names next to your roll number instead of marks, you scored below 33% in those subjects.
- What that means: you can appear in those subjects along with the Part-II (First Annual) exam next year. If you do not, the board decides your pass or fail in that subject on your combined Part-I and Part-II marks.
- Notice only: the gazette is issued “as a notice only, errors and omissions excepted”. Your result card is the record that counts.

One Rule Every Lahore Student Should Know: Islamic Education
Here is a detail from Lahore’s own result notice that almost no one explains. The combined Part-I and Part-II rule above applies to every subject except Islamic Education, which is held only in Part-I. There is no Islamic Education paper in Part-II to balance it out.
So if your gazette line shows Islamic Education as a subject below 33%, do not leave it. Make sure you appear in it again with your Part-II exam, because you cannot make it up through Part-II marks.

2022 was a rough year, with barely four in ten passing after exams held late in July. Since 2023, Lahore’s Part-I pass rate has stayed in the low to mid fifties, which is roughly the Punjab average.

Pre-Engineering students in Lahore pass Part-I at nearly twice the rate of Humanities students. Humanities is also the largest group, which is why it pulls the overall figure down.
The Part-II picture this year
The students who sat Part-I in Lahore in 2025 are largely the batch that took the combined Intermediate result this September. Their Part-I pass rate was 53.77%; a year later the board’s overall rate was above 64%. Girls in Lahore passed at 71% against 49% for boys in that result, and the top position went to two students with 1,158 marks out of 1,200. Mathematics was the subject where most students struggled.
The lesson for Part-I students: a weak first-year result can be recovered, but maths problems rarely fix themselves. If maths is your weak paper, start on it now.
Private Candidates: How You Get Your Result
If you appeared as a private candidate, Lahore Board sends the result intimation by post to the home address you gave on your admission form. Regular students receive their result cards through their institution. Private candidates can still check online, by name or roll number, or by SMS, the same as everyone else, so you do not need to wait for the post.
Rechecking at Lahore Board
You can apply for rechecking online within 15 days of the result. Lahore runs a separate rechecking portal for Intermediate: hsscrechecking.biselahore.com, also linked from biselahore.com.
Rechecking confirms that every question was marked and every mark added correctly. It does not re-mark your paper from scratch. It makes most sense when one paper is far below your usual level, or when you are just short of 33%.
